Willem SchungelI am an expert in the field of digital marketing communication and new (digital) proposition creation.

My mission is to drive change for brands through digital excellence in the following domains:

  • (Digital) marketing transformation
  • Innovation across multiple horizons


I am an entrepreneur and have launched several companies, including:

  • 2003-2008: Bloody Minded, a digital marketing communications agency.
  • 2004-2009: Toddler.nl, a community platform for new, young parents, sponsored by Johnson&Johnson.
  • 2017-2020: Checkout, an app to encourage people to be more sensible in their smartphone behaviors.

Corporate, C-level consultant

In parallel, I bring extensive enterprise experience and have lead by inspiration on all levels within organizations such as Unilever, Philips, Heineken, NN Group, FrieslandCampina, Avon Cosmetics, JDE, Rabobank and more.


Currently I am in a role as International Innovation Lead for NN Group, coordinating and overseeing innovation efforts across markets.
